Job summary

Manhattan Strategy Group is seeking a Data Management Specialist to ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility across grants administration and program operations. The role manages workflow tracking systems, metadata, and data assets while supporting governance across business processes.

Responsibilities include data quality reviews,_records management, and developing SOPs. The position requires collaboration across teams and adherence to federal standards, with some telework 1–2 days

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Information Management, Library Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data management, records management, or data quality functions.
• Experience with metadata management and document management systems.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and quality assurance methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability.
• Conduct ongoing data quality reviews and recommend corrective actions.
• Support implementation of data governance standards and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to records management and information governance requirements.
• Maintain workflow tracking systems and operational data repositories.
• Create and update data assets, including trackers, dashboards, mailing lists, and operational databases.
• Manage metadata and documentation supporting data assets and business processes.
• Maintain records and supporting documentation in accordance with federal standards.
• Collect, aggregate, enter, update, and reconcile information from multiple systems.
• Support maintenance of grants administration and operational datasets.
• Monitor system updates and data synchronization processes.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and integrity issues.
• Develop standard operating procedures and process documentation.
• Support knowledge management and transition activities.
• Assist with implementation of data-driven workflow improvements.
• Participate in training and change management activities related to new systems and processes.
