Job summary

Lancesoft supports the Tennessee Centre for Enterprise Data & Analytics (CEDA) as a contracted Enterprise Data Governance Consultant. The role focuses on AI governance, data strategy, stakeholder engagement, and governance implementation across state agencies to mature data programs and enable trusted data use.

The consultant will facilitate governance meetings, develop training, and coordinate with privacy, security, and compliance teams to ensure policy alignment and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating cross-functional governance meetings.
• Knowledge of AI governance, privacy, and compliance concepts.
• Ability to translate governance into actionable agency tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, facilitate, and document agency governance meetings, workshops, and steering committee sessions.
• Support governance artifacts, roadmaps, and maturity assessments to close gaps.
• Translate complex governance concepts into plain-language guidance for executives and staff.
• Develop training plans and learning materials aligned to Tennessee’s governance methodology.
• Promote adoption of data governance as a business-enabling capability across agencies.
