Job summary

ZealHire Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead enterprise data governance, improve data quality, implement policies, and optimize business processes. The ideal candidate will excel in SQL, data lineage, data cataloging, data warehousing, and requirements gathering with strong stakeholder management.

The role requires onsite work in Richmond, Virginia, with local candidates only. Visa: USC/GC; two days per week onsite.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Data Analysis experience.
• 10+ years in Data Lineage and Data Cataloging.
• 10+ years in Data Governance policy and procedure development.
• 10+ years of SQL expertise.
• 10+ years in Data Warehousing.
• 10+ years in requirements elicitation and business analysis.
• 7+ years with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve enterprise data governance policies, processes, and standards.
• Analyze data management processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Develop data governance documentation, SOPs, process maps, and RACI matrices.
• Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and business stakeholders.
• Support data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data cataloging.
• Gather business requirements and facilitate cross-functional discussions.
• Support data access governance, data sharing, and master data management initiatives.
