Independence Pet Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to manage governance platforms, metadata, and data quality in a multi-brand North America environment.

You will partner with Data Governance, Security, Engineering, Legal, and business stakeholders to enable data cataloging, MDM, privacy compliance, and governance program execution. This role emphasizes hands-on administration and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Governance or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience implementing data catalog platforms with metadata management.
• Proven ability to build and operate a Data Stewardship Program.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and stewardship best practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer the enterprise Data Catalog and partner with the Data Governance team.
• Lead the data catalog roadmap: metadata, onboarding, classification, glossary, lineage.
• Support and administer Databricks Unity Catalog and data governance across domains.
• Collaborate with data owners and engineering to improve data discoverability and governance adoption.
• Design and lead the Data Stewardship Program aligned with catalog deployment.
• Serve as admin for Osano, managing enhancements, requests, and vendor coordination.
• Support MDM platforms including stewardship workflows and data quality initiatives.
• Monitor governance adoption, metrics, and identify improvements.
