Job summary

Federated Hermes, Inc. is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Office in Warrendale, PA. You will analyze, define, implement and promote the effective use of our data governance tools and related enterprise assets.

The role leads strategy, standards and collaboration across GTO and BI teams, ensuring data quality, metadata management and AI-enabled adoption. A 7+ year background in data governance, a Information Science degree, and strong SQL/BI skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Information Science or comparable field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of data governance or data management experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformational projects and coordinating activities across multiple departments.
• Previous financial sector experience with asset management background preferable.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications, BI reporting solutions, and analytical tools.
• Hands on experience of leveraging AI tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
• Strong SQL skills and data profiling skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, implement and promote appropriate and effective utilization of our data governance tools across enterprise assets such as Copilot, SharePoint, Power BI.
• Refine data governance solutions strategy, identify principles, objectives, components, and roadmap.
• Establish standards to ensure data is concise, accurate, complete, and current.
• Define a strategy to leverage AI adoption to accelerate data governance usability.
• Lead standardized usage of data governance tools focusing on metadata management and data quality.
• Collaborate with business units to document data governance use cases and needs.
• Serve as Global Data Office project lead for data governance projects ensuring business requirements are met.
• Maintain relationships with strategic partners across the enterprise.
• Assist with training and delivery of data governance concepts.
• Develop and deliver progress reports and dashboards; author documentation.
