TrueNorth is seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to assess data management maturity, review governance controls and establish readiness for AI adoption. The role focuses on data quality, metadata, lineage, ownership, and stewardship, with GDPR and information protection in scope.

Applicants must hold active SC clearance. IR35 status is inside. Given urgency, start ASAP; assignment runs until 12 February 2027. Remote work is available.

TrueNorth are looking for an experienced Data Governance Lead to assess data management maturity, review governance controls and help establish readiness for AI adoption.

You’ll assess data quality, metadata, lineage, ownership and stewardship, identifying gaps and recommending practical improvements across data and information governance.

We’re looking for a governance specialist who can work closely with business and technical stakeholders, assess existing practices and translate findings into clear accountabilities, effective controls and a prioritised improvement plan.
