We are seeking a highly experienced Data Governance Expert Solution Lead to lead and deliver strategic Data Governance initiatives for a leading Investment Management client in New York This role requires a unique blend of consulting architecture stakeholder management and hands‑on technical delivery expertise
The ideal candidate will not only provide governance strategy and advisory services but will also be capable of building Proof of Concepts POCs conducting client demonstrations configuring governance solutions developing integrations and driving implementation activities The individual must have strong experience working with enterprise Data Governance Metadata Management Data Catalog and Data Lineage platforms
Candidates must possess domain experience within Investment Management Asset Management Banking Capital Markets Wealth Management or Financial Services organizations enabling them to effectively engage with business stakeholders and understand regulatory governance and data management requirements
Role Summary:
- The successful candidate will lead enterprise Data Governance and Metadata Management initiatives leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Purview Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalog CDGC and Solidatus Experience with Ataccama is highly desirable
- The role will focus on designing implementing and operationalizing governance capabilities across a complex ecosystem of cloud analytical and operational platforms including Microsoft Fabric Azure Data Services SQL Server Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL Amazon S3 and other enterprise applications

Key Responsibilities:
Data Governance Leadership:
- Lead enterprise wide Data Governance transformation programs
- Define governance frameworks operating models standards policies and controls
- Establish strategic roadmaps for governance adoption and maturity
- Partner with executive leadership business stakeholders and technology teams to drive governance objectives
Hands‑on Delivery Solution Development:
- Design build and demonstrate governance Proof of Concepts POCs
- Conduct client workshops demonstrations and solution showcases
- Configure and implement Microsoft Purview Informatica CDGC and related governance solutions
- Develop governance integrations and automation capabilities
- Provide technical leadership during implementation and deployment activities
- Actively contribute to architecture development and solution delivery activities
Metadata Management Data Catalog:
- Define and manage business glossaries data dictionaries and governance taxonomies
- Enable business and technical metadata harvesting enrichment and stewardship processes
- Establish metadata standards and governance controls
- Design and implement end to end lineage capabilities using Solidatus and Microsoft Purview
- Deliver business and technical lineage across data domains and platforms
- Support impact analysis regulatory reporting and audit requirements
Governance Technology Integration:
- Integrate governance platforms with enterprise technologies including:

Stakeholder Client Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership
- Facilitate governance councils steering committees and architecture review sessions

- Drive stakeholder alignment across business operations data risk compliance and technology functions
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 10 years of experience in Data Governance Data Management Data Architecture Metadata Management or Data Strategy
- Proven experience leading enterprise Data Governance programs and transformations
- Consulting experience working directly with clients and executive stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives while remaining hands‑on in delivery
- Experience building prototypes accelerators POCs and implementation solutions
- Industry Experience Mandatory
- Strong experience within one or more of the following industries

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $46.23/hour - $72.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
