Job summary

Arka Innovate seeks a Technical Data Governance Specialist to drive data governance policies, ensure quality, security, and regulatory compliance across enterprise data platforms, with emphasis on Microsoft Purview and Azure Data Services.

You will collaborate with data stewards and business partners to define governance frameworks, and assist in integrating Purview with Azure Data Factory and other data platforms while maintaining strong privacy controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data governance, quality, or compliance.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Purview and Azure data services.
• Experience implementing governance policies across enterprise data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data governance policies using Microsoft Purview.
• Ensure data quality, security, and privacy standards across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to define governance frameworks.
• Support integration of Purview with Azure Data Factory and other data management platforms.
• Monitor and enhance data compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.
• Assist in data classification, lineage tracking, and metadata management within Purview.

Arka Innovate is seeking aTechnical Data Governance Specialistwith expertise inMicrosoft PurviewandAzure Data Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementingdata governance policies, ensuringdata quality, security, and compliance, and integratingPurview with enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintaindata governance policiesusingMicrosoft Purview.
• Ensuredata quality, security, and privacystandards are adhered to across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate withdata stewards and business stakeholdersto definedata governance frameworks.
• Support theintegration of Microsoft PurviewwithAzure Data Factory (ADF)and otherdata management platforms.
• Monitor and enhancedata compliancewith regulatory frameworks such asGDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc..
• Assist indata classification, lineage tracking, and metadata managementwithinPurview.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experienceindata quality, governance, or compliance, with hands-on exposure toMicrosoft Purview.
• Strong expertise inAzure Data Services(Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, etc.).
• In-depth understanding ofdata quality frameworks, data policies, and regulatory standards.
• Experience working withdata security, access control, and privacy regulations.
• Ability to define and implementdata governance best practicesin an enterprise setting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, andcross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CertificationsinAzure Data, Governance, or Compliance-related fields.
• Experience integratingMicrosoft Purview with enterprise data architectures.
