Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Data Governance Intern to join our Knoxville team for a summer 2027 program. You will ingest and analyze data to build dashboards and executive visuals, helping leaders make data-driven decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Collaborative team player with a passion for data, you will work on end-to-end data flows, quality monitoring, and lifecycle practices while supporting Pilot’s governance initiatives and strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or masters in Analytics, CS, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and MS Office; experience building visualizations.
• Curious, collaborative, and eager to build solutions with others.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business partners to gather data requirements and insights.
• Map data flows from core sources into dashboards and executive visuals.
• Develop visualizations and dashboards to monitor data quality and metrics.
• Assist in data lifecycle management to ensure governance and compliance.
• Support team initiatives and help accelerate delivery of Pilot's projects.
