Job summary

Honeywell IT is seeking an IT Director - Data Governance to shape the strategy and execution of data governance across the enterprise. You will lead master data governance initiatives, align policies with ERP/S/4 ecosystems, and drive data quality and trust across business units.

You will collaborate with data stewards, owners, architects, and engineers to deliver robust MDG solutions and governance programs, while guiding teams and managing vendor relationships. Location is Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying MDG in SAP S/4 environments.
• Deep knowledge of MDG architectures and data governance.
• Experience with data quality, metadata, and lifecycle processes.
• Hands-on in data modeling, hubs, and replication.
• Proven ability to connect MDG to ERP/CRM and cloud data warehouses.
• Identify data migration bottlenecks and security/compliance risks early.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data governance strategies aligned with business transformation.
• Define and operationalize the master data governance roadmap at source in ERP.
• Collaborate with data stewards, owners, architects, and engineers to deliver MDG solutions.
• Establish cadence to track metrics and ensure compliance with data standards.
• Oversee MDG process blueprint, design, and deployment across functions.
• Coordinate integration with upstream and downstream systems.
• Manage licenses, vendor relationships and external consultants.
• Assess new requirements and translate to scalable digital solutions.
• Lead, guide and mentor technical teams and change management
• Communicate progress to senior IT and business stakeholders.
