Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Data Governance Communications Specialist for remote engagement. You will craft communications, instructional content, and visuals to explain governance processes and self-service analytics workflows to mixed audiences.

Focus areas include SharePoint publishing, Power BI and data cataloging tools, with strong emphasis on clear, scalable resources. You will develop guides, storyboards, and video content, and publish them across a centralized SharePoint repository while

Qualifications

• Proven SharePoint expertise with site structure and content distribution.
• Hands-on video production for modern tools and demonstrations.
• Content design, storyboarding, and process documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience presenting visually via PowerPoint, infographics, and diagrams.
• Ability to gather feedback and iterate for clarity and usability.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts and self-service analytics.
• Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, and Microsoft Forms.

Responsibilities

• Create and publish explanations of data governance concepts for business and IT.
• Develop how-to guides for data cataloging and metadata management.
• Design instructional storyboards and adapt governance playbooks.
• Produce demonstrations and walkthroughs of governance tools.
• Develop docs for self-service analytics like Power BI and Snowflake.
• Translate technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences.
• Publish materials on SharePoint for self-serve discovery.
• Create PowerPoint decks, infographics, and visual aids.
• Produce video content using tools like Firefly or Adobe Premiere.
• Build surveys and assessments to gather feedback.
• Support communications strategy to drive adoption.
