Data Governance Analyst
Remote (Utah, Texas, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada)
6-month Contract to hire
$48.00 to $55.00 Per hour

Job Description
Our client is looking for a Data Governance Analyst to assist with data governance-related initiatives, especially in Data Quality, Metadata Management (Data Dictionary, Business Glossary, and other business, technology, and governance asset relationships), and Data Security. Provide insightful experience-based consulting to information workers and decision-makers regarding Data Quality, Data Security, and Metadata Management. Analyze business processes and data processes to find areas of improvement and help turn those into viable initiatives, projects, and relationships.

Required Skills

• 4 years with a degree or 8 years experience
• Experience with one or more Data Management tools (Informatica, Collibra, etc.)
• Experience with ticketing and PM tools Atlassian stack (Jira and Confluence)
• Knowledge of Data Management Technologies such as Database Administration (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc.) & Database Development (SQL), Data Warehousing tools (ETL, Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, etc.)
• Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Microstrategy, etc.)
• Data Diagramming & Modelling Tools
• Experience with Data Governance, as it relates to Data Dictionary, business glossary, and management of data within the organization per best practice
• CDMP Certification is nice to have
