The successful candidate will be comfortable handling several workstreams at the same time in an agile environment, working with colleagues across the US and UK and with external service providers.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

- Work in a collaborative and coordinated way with the business, technology teams and external service providers (both incoming and outgoing), across the US and UK.
- Understand investment operations data (for example holdings, transactions, pricing and corporate actions) and how it works from both a program and Business-as-Usual (BAU) perspective.
- Proactively deliver DG activities by identifying and mapping data requirements and understanding the business processes behind them.

- Develop and maintain data dictionary records for all in-scope business terms, including the business glossary, data quality rules and data lineage.
- Develop business and data quality rules with data owners, agree monitoring and reporting needs, and confirm that data quality issues are closed.
- Promote the identification, assessment and management of data-related risks (including privacy and security), and help the business design effective data controls.
- Promote good data practice and awareness across the business.
- Act as a subject matter expert for data, analytics and governance standards within the program.
- Deliver the agreed DG activities and apply the Data Governance Framework to the project team throughout the program lifecycle.
