Job summary

Touro College of Dental Medicine is seeking a Data and Financial Analyst to manage, collect, report, and analyze data to inform academic and financial decisions. The role supports Outcomes Assessment and Finance and Operations, ensuring data integrity and reporting across the institution.

Responsibilities include building reports, dashboards, and visualizations; translating requirements into specifications; and collaborating on special projects with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, statistics, IT, or related field.
• Experience in higher education.
• Experience with SPSS, Qualtrics, and MS Office platforms.
• Experience with Tableau and SQL is a plus.
• SPSS programming experience and ability to manipulate and analyze institutional data.
• Qualtrics experience with survey design, collection, and reporting.
• Knowledge of database structures and SQL for large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection, analysis, and submission of institutional data.
• Develop cyclical and ad-hoc data reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze large complex data sets to inform academic decisions.
• Translate institutional requirements into specifications for reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Stay updated on data collection related to academics, student services, HR, and finance.
• Suggest process improvements and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Collaborate with team to collect and analyze data.
• Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
• Answer questions and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Perform special projects and assignments as requested.
