Job summary

Specialty Dental Brands is seeking a Data Analyst to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support decisions across Operations, Finance, HR, and Clinical Support. You will partner with leaders to develop reporting solutions focused on provider productivity, employee retention, and financial performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, information systems, accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or related field.
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and large, complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and business intelligence or data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and analytical models for business leaders.
  • Strong understanding of data validation, reporting accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Experience analyzing operational, financial, workforce, or healthcare-related data.
  • Dental, healthcare, or multisite business experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and other business systems to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of risk.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that provide leaders with clear, actionable insights.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators related to provider productivity, practice performance, employee retention, operational efficiency, and financial results.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective analytical solutions.
  • Validate data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness across multiple systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and access to information.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Support recurring reporting needs as well as ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to strengthen the organization’s data infrastructure and reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data definitions, and analytical processes.

As a Data Analyst at Specialty Dental Brands, you will transform complex data into meaningful insights that support better decisions across our growing organization.
