Behind every successful treatment plan is a team of professionals working together to ensure smooth operations—and accurate data is key. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our administrative team.

Position Summary :

The Data Entry Technician is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and managing a variety of data related to patient records, appointment scheduling, billing, and clinic operations. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, supporting compliance, and enabling seamless communication across clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities
  • Enter and update patient information in electronic health records (EHR) and other clinic databases
  • Maintain accuracy of data related to appointments, billing, insurance, and treatment documentation
  • Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and take corrective action as needed
  • Assist with generating reports and summaries for management and clinical staff
  • Support front office operations with administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic privacy policies
  • Communicate with staff to resolve data discrepancies and improve information flow
  • Participate in ongoing process improvements for data management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or certifications in data entry, IT, or healthcare administration a plus
  • Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or recordkeeping (healthcare setting preferred)
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); experience with EHR systems is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
