Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Clerk for full-time third shift. You will enter patient, client, billing and test information into the Laboratory Information System and support safe, compliant operations.

You should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, training or experience in specimen collection or processing, and strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. Routine PHI access and PPE requirements are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing is preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and analytical skills are essential.

This opportunity is full-time during third shift.

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for entering patient, client, billing and test information into the Laboratory Information System
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.

• 1 - 2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production
