Job summary

Elevance Health in Indianapolis is seeking a Contract Claims Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist to support daily claim reconciliation, process account adjustments, and resolve claims issues with accuracy and courtesy.

The role requires a High School diploma and at least two years of data entry and customer service experience; the hybrid model expects on-site presence at least once weekly in a PulsePoint-aligned environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years data entry and customer service experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily reconciliation of customer claims.
• Requests account adjustments.
• Provides superior, professional, and courteous service to customers and timely and accurate resolution of claims issues and adjustments regarding patient profiles, etc.
• Makes significant contribution to work team as an independent problem solver and decision‑maker who works without significant guidance.
• Assists with training of staff. Processes 300-350 claims per day as needed.
