Job description

Mission: Purchase order management and direct purchasing

This is an in-office position located in VA Beach, VA. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm and pays $18-$20/hr depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter product data to support purchase orders (POs)
• Create part numbers including all detailed information in Excel
• Create POs for vendors with high accuracy regarding pricing, delivery, and agreed upon terms
• Update product pricing data and keep current
• Track inbound shipments, resolve delivery issues, and communicate as needed
• Maintain accurate item data within the system (i.e. names, descriptions, UPCs, costs, and pricing)
• Maintain accurate records of communications, contracts, and performance metrics
• Assist in the preparation of advertising sheets, secure samples, and other related duties with corporate promotional events
• Additional duties as assigned by leadership

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Previous data-entry experience with high attention to detail
• Strong Excel data manipulation skills
• NetSuite or other ERP experience a plus
• High attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Ability to work independently and as an effective part of the team

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
• Limited travel (<10%) as needed
