Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician with pharmacy experience to join our team overnight.

You will handle data entry, order processing, and customer inquiries under staff pharmacist review, and maintain accurate patient information. Qualifications include LTC pharmacy experience preferred, knowledge of brand name and generic medications, strong attention to detail, solid computer skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with pharmacy background.
• Prior experience in pharmacy operations preferred.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills required.
• Frameworks / ECM knowledge a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager.
• Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders and general customer inquiries.
• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
• Clarify orders as needed.
• Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times.
