Job description

Our Company:

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

4500 South Pleasant Valley Rd., Building 1- Suite 100
Austin, TX 78744

Responsibilities:

  1. Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
  2. Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
  3. Generate labels for dispensing.
  4. Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
  5. Clarify orders as needed.
  6. Triage incoming faxes.

Qualifications:

  1. Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician required.
  2. Previous experience in pharmacy desired.
  3. Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
  4. Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
  5. Must be multi-tasking and reliable.
  6. Knowledge of SIG-Codes.
  7. Quick typing skills.
  8. Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS.
