Job summary

EmpowerMe Wellness is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support data entry and confidential record handling within our on-site pharmacy services for seniors across our communities. The role emphasizes accuracy, privacy, and timely task completion.

You will interpret prescription orders, assist the team, and maintain precise documentation while upholding high standards of customer service and compliance within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year Pharmacy Tech experience (preferred).
• Pharmacy Technician License (preferred).
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Well-received by coworkers with positive morale.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Teamwork mindset with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, interprets, and enters data with a high degree of accuracy and detail
• Generates, receives, and maintains confidential and sensitive documentation, files, information, and reports to ensure the security of files and data
• Quickly and accurately tracks data with little to no errors
• Maintains confidence and protects sensitive information for patients
• Interprets and enters prescription orders accurately for pharmacist approval
• Learns patients’ needs and specific requests
• Reports to pharmacy technician supervisor
• Works closely with others within the team
• Performs other duties as assigned
