Job summary

Labcorp in RTP, NC is seeking a Data Entry Operator to join our team. Schedule: Tue-Sat, 2:00pm–10:30pm. You will enter patient results into electronic systems and support daily lab workflows.

Responsibilities include printing worksheets, entering results in lab systems, and ensuring proper data storage. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and strong attention to detail.

Labcorp is seeking a Data Entry Operator to join our team in RTP, NC.

Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 2:00pm to 10:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of patient’s results in a timely and accurate manner
• Print out and distribute daily worksheets for technical staff
• Use various laboratory systems to enter test results
• Ensure test results are stored in their proper location
• Call client with test results when necessary
• Order supplies for the department when need
• Other administrative and clericals tasks as required

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience

Additional Job Standards

• Strong data entry and typing skills; Proficient with computers
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
