Job Description

The responsibilities of this role include recruiting households to participate in the Nielsen Consumer Panel. The role requires maintaining an assigned number of households to ensure weekly data transmissions and quality across product categories. It also involves verifying the accuracy of data collected by households and adhering to Nielsen data collection standards.

1. Achieve recruitment and installation goals using proven techniques.
2. Visit homes within a designated territory to address participation gaps.
3. Educate panelists on scanner usage and the importance of scanning all products.
4. Follow Nielsen methodologies and policies.
5. Recruit eligible homes within an area without prior appointments.
6. Persuade and educate households, build rapport, and maximize participation.
7. Encourage survey completion via paper or online.
8. Communicate incentives and address panelists’ questions.
9. Support other teams and collaborate across departments to ensure quality samples.

Drive to homes using a company vehicle and GPS. Collaborate with the National Consumer Panel to ensure methodology compliance.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong customer service and human relations skills.
• Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
• High School Degree or GED; Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and interact with households, including those with pets or in disarray.
• Ability to navigate stairs, elevators, and various home entrances.
• Willing to travel to other markets as needed.
