Job summary

Michigan Milk Producers Association is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support ERP data entry at the Remus, MI plant. The role focuses on accurately entering and maintaining production, inventory, and operational data in the Microsoft D365 ERP system, working closely with production, inventory, and administrative teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of data entry experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of data entry experience.
  • ERP system experience (Microsoft Dynamics D365 or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update production orders, inventory transactions, and material movements into the ERP system.
  • Process BOMs, routings, and work order data.
  • Verify production data against source documents (shop floor paperwork, inventory logs, shipping/receiving records).
  • Assist with maintaining item master data, part numbers, and product specifications.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliations.
  • Monitor data integrity and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Generate routine production and inventory reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, warehouse staff, purchasing, and accounting to ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records in compliance with company policies.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and production protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to support ERP system data entry within a fast-paced production environment at our Remus, MI plant. This role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining production, inventory, and operational data in the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Microsoft D365. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with production, inventory, and administrative teams.

SCHEDULE/HOURS:

Monday - Friday: 10:00AM-6:30PM

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurately enter and update production orders, inventory transactions, and material movements into the ERP system
  • Process bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and work order data
  • Verify production data against source documents (shop floor paperwork, inventory logs, shipping/receiving records)
  • Assist with maintaining item master data, part numbers, and product specifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of data entry experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365, or similar) preferred
