LucyRx is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering to lead a nine‑person team through modernizing our enterprise data platform. You will balance hands‑on PL/SQL work with people leadership, owning complex database and pipeline work and migrating to a cloud analytics stack built on Snowflake.

The role anchors in Oracle PL/SQL, database performance, and migration planning, with expansion to cloud data engineering as the platform matures. A strong, delivery‑focused technologist is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of data engineering or Oracle database development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or management role.
• Deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience managing a team of engineers, including coaching and delivery ownership.
• Hands-on technical contribution within the last 12 months alongside people management.
• Experience with Oracle-to-cloud migration patterns (AWS RDS, OCI, Azure).
• Strong SQL and Python for scripting, automation, or pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~9 data engineers and contractors with day‑to‑day delivery ownership.
• Define coding standards across Oracle PL/SQL, ETL, and data pipelines.
• Perform code reviews and enforce quality, documentation, and testing standards.
• Spend ~30% writing and reviewing production code on high‑leverage areas.
• Plan and oversee Oracle database migration to cloud platforms (AWS RDS, OCI, Azure).
• Ensure data integrity, security, and HIPAA compliance across data work.
• Collaborate on Snowflake platform design, ingestion patterns, and data modeling.
