You will mentor engineers, review code, and collaborate with mission owners, platform teams, and cybersecurity experts to deliver trusted data products for analysts and AI applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with data engineering and ownership of production enterprise data infrastructure for DoW/DoD missions.
• Experience architecting and implementing secure data integration across cloud and on‑premises environments, including batch and streaming pipelines.
• Experience with Python and SQL applied to complex data transformations, distributed processing, and production performance troubleshooting.
• Experience designing governed data architectures with metadata, lineage, data quality, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery supporting DoW/DoD data, analytics, and AI missions.
• Architect secure data architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments; integrate authoritative sources.
• Remain hands‑on: develop critical components, review code, diagnose production problems, and drive engineering decisions.
• Mentor engineers and establish reusable engineering practices across teams.
