Helmerich and Payne in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Senior Data Platform Leader to orchestrate enterprise data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, and cloud analytics across the organization. You will lead data engineers, ETL/ELT teams, BI developers, and data architects, defining strategy, governance, and scalable pipelines.

Collaboration with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT is essential to deliver trusted analytics and AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years in data warehousing, data engineering, or analytics.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or management experience.
• Strong expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, ETL development, and data modeling.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud data platforms and ERP ecosystems like Oracle EBS, SAP, Workday, or Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams of data engineers, ETL developers, BI developers, and data architects.
• Define and execute enterprise data warehouse and data engineering strategy.
• Design and maintain enterprise data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and cloud analytics platforms.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines supporting structured and unstructured data.
• Lead migration initiatives from legacy platforms to modern cloud ecosystems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and operational excellence.
• Support enterprise BI, reporting, KPI dashboards, and AI/ML initiatives.
