Job summary
Fixity Technologies in Charlotte, NC seeks a senior data engineer with 12+ years in data engineering, ETL, or data integration. You will work with IBM CloudPak for Data CP4D v4.5, design and optimize large batch processes, and shape data transformation across enterprise systems.
Candidates should have advanced SQL/PLSQL, strong Oracle and DB2 experience, and effective collaboration with stakeholders. Bonus: Python scripting, Oracle GoldenGate, CDC tech, and familiarity with CockroachDB or MemSQL.
Qualifications
- 12+ years in Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Integration.
- Hands-on with IBM CloudPak for Data CP4D v4.5.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Strong experience with Oracle and DB2 databases.
- Solid background in data transformation and engineering.
- Significant experience with data modeling.
- Experience designing and supporting large-scale batch processing.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data validation.
- Linux/Unix environment experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.
- Bonus: Cockroach or MemSQL experience.
- Bonus: Python scripting.
- Bonus: Oracle GoldenGate knowledge.
- Familiarity with CDC technologies.
