Job summary

Symbotic LLC invites students for Summer 2027 to join our data analytics internship/co-op programs. You’ll contribute to core insights, build data pipelines, and develop models that drive decision making in a fast-paced automation environment.

You’ll work with SQL (Snowflake), Python, and visualization tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau), while collaborating with data engineering and GitLab for version control. Travel up to 10% may be required; relocation benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or similar field.
• Familiarity with SQL, preferably with experience in Snowflake.
• Basic knowledge of Python, with a focus on data manipulation.
• Experience or interest in data visualization tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau.
• Understanding of GitLab for version control and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Help build and scale the core insights function to better support data, analytics, and reporting needs for new projects, while contributing to Data Governance initiatives.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to manage and manipulate data within the Snowflake database.
• Use Python to flatten and transform database data for downstream processing.
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards in Qlik Sense and Tableau.
• Collaborate with team members to manage code through GitLab, including pushing and pulling code for version control.
• Document processes, workflows, and key insights.
• Develop data preprocessing pipelines to improve model robustness and efficiency.
• Build and refine predictive models to drive data‑driven decision‑making.
• Work with Data Engineering to automate data workflows and ensure real‑time insight.
