Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Data Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Cincinnati, OH. This hybrid role combines in-office and remote work, with a minimum on-site presence three days a week.

The intern will gain hands-on experience across platforms and technologies within the Data Integration Group. The program offers shadowing, training, and networking opportunities, with a focus on data migration, internal support tools, and new technologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems.
• 3.0 GPA preferred and 2028 or 2029 graduation year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work within Informatica on-prem and cloud integrations tools to support migration efforts
• Gather, analyze, and visualize team metrics to identify trends and share performance insights
• Assist with deliverables and process improvements related to the organization’s internal support platform
• Maintain and update process documentation in SharePoint for accurate team knowledge
