Job summary

Fintech LLC in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Data Engineering Intern to support analytics and data platform initiatives. You will help build and maintain data pipelines, improve data quality, and work with engineers and analysts to enable scalable data solutions.

As a current student or recent graduate in a related field with up to 1 year of experience, you will gain hands-on exposure to ETL, data lakes, and visualization tools while learning best practices in data governance and engineering

Qualifications

• Enrolled student or recent graduate in CS/Data Eng/Stats or related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in data or BI preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python is a plus.

We are looking for a Data Engineer Intern to support our analytics and data platform initiatives. In this role, you will help build and maintain data pipelines, improve data quality, and work closely with engineers and analysts to enable reliable, scalable data solutions.

Essential Functions

Project Responsibility: Simple Data Transformations and Reports

Technical Competencies

• Basic SQL and Python programming
• Understanding of data concepts and terminology
• Simple ETL processes and data validation
• Data quality basics and documentation
• Introduction to Azure Data Lake and Databricks
• Basic data visualization with Apache Superset
• Understanding of financial data and transaction processing

Qualifications
