Job summary

Bessemer Trust is seeking a Data Engineering Intern for its Application Delivery team in New Jersey. You will help design, build, and test data pipelines, participate in ETL processes, and support data integration with analytics platforms.

This role offers hands-on software development experience and exposure to wealth management technology. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions, while learning enterprise data

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to understand and visualize how data flows through complex systems.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work tasks.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Version control systems (Git).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Experience or interest in generative AI technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Bessemer Trust Internship Program:

Our summer internship program offers real world experience working side-by-side with experts from departments and offices across our firm. Working within your designated team, you will manage individual and group projects, interact with senior leaders, and attend a variety of career development sessions. You will also network with fellow interns in-person and virtually, as well as during our intern days held in our New York headquarters.

This 10-week program is designed to mimic the experience of a full-time employee, providing an opportunity to build subject matter expertise and enhance your career at Bessemer and beyond.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $40.00 - $45.00.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Application deadline is October 6th.
