Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Data Engineer Specialist on the Innovation and Automation team. You will design, develop, and implement reusable frameworks and core tooling to enable faster, more reliable data pipelines across the data organization.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC (Terraform), and modern data architecture with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and a focus on scalable pipelines. You will mentor others and prototype cutting-edge technologies in a highly technical setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python and advanced SQL.
• Proven experience building and optimizing data pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure) on Databricks or Snowflake.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• CI/CD principles and tools applied to data workflows.
• Deep understanding of modern data architecture and data modeling best practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert on automated data engineering solutions.
• Develop and maintain library of reusable ETL/ELT templates using Python/SQL with Databricks or Snowflake.
• Implement automated data quality and testing frameworks embedded in pipelines.
• Develop IaC modules (Terraform) for automated data infra provisioning.
• Enhance CI/CD for DataOps pipelines and ensure reliable deployments.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices for automation.
