Ally Financial is seeking a Manager - Data Analytics to lead a team delivering cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions. You will oversee data ingestion, data quality, and governance across complex environments while collaborating with business partners and engineers.

The role emphasizes SDLC leadership, modern data tooling, and strong communication to drive enterprise analytics and AI initiatives within a hybrid Detroit-based setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in data management or analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in data warehousing design and development.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/SCRUM/Kanban).
• Ability to lead, mentor and manage contributors.
• Strong requirements gathering and design abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead developers and analysts to coordinate SDLC tasks for system integration and reporting.
• Analyze interfaces, files, databases and reports.
• Gather requirements and create technical specifications.
• Design technology changes within Ally's data ecosystem.
• Design system interfaces and ensure scalable data architectures.
• Troubleshoot interfaces and provide production support.
• Engage with clients moderately.
• Manage vendors for incident resolution and enhancements.
• Configure systems and applications.
