Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Data Engineer to support the TAAS program at Hanscom AFB. The role is full-time and focuses on developing data acquisition and processing backbone, with broad systems engineering responsibilities across the SDLC.

Required 5+ years in systems and data engineering, a related bachelor’s degree, and experience with Python, database architecture, and Microsoft Power Platform/SharePoint integration. TS/SCI eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in systems and data engineering.
• Experience with database architecture, Python, and scripting.
• Experience with RFP development including requirements gathering and analysis.
• Knowledge of digital engineering and Power Platform tools.
• Experience across the full system development life cycle from initiation through deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop the backbone for how the organization receives, processes, and manages acquisition data.
• Apply system engineering knowledge to the acquisition process.
• Conduct portfolio reviews to evaluate plans and improve systems engineering programs.
• Prepare technical documents defining system/subsystem characteristics.
• Provide system/program engineering support and technical training for programs.
