Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Data Engineer (Starship) at Starbase, TX to build and own data pipelines and automation that drive a complex Starship supply chain. You will work with a team to transform data and deliver analytics that influence leadership decisions, focusing on reliability and rapid iteration.

Strong SQL, Python, ETL skills, and experience with Airflow/dbt are preferred. This role requires on-site presence at Starbase and some travel as project milestones demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of software/data pipeline experience.
• 1+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, full stack development, or software engineering via project team or internships.

Responsibilities

• Own automations, applications, and data pipelines end-to-end.
• Lead projects from problem identification to adoption and monitoring.
• Query, clean, and transform data to inform supply chain decisions.
• Collaborate with central software teams on roadmap and implementation details.
• Develop and improve KPIs and operational metrics.
