Job summary

Bold Orange Company, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer, Data to join our technology team. This hands-on role centers on Snowflake, designing data models, building pipelines, and delivering governed analytics for multi‑client engagements.

You will collaborate with project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, performant solutions, while pairing data work with backend and DevOps engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a data‑engineering focus.
• Deep, hands‑on Snowflake expertise for data models, warehouses, ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and C# for backend development.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Proven ability to build and consume REST APIs.
• DevOps experience: CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Comfort working in Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain data models, warehouses, and ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake.
• Develop and tune SQL, stored procedures, and transformations in Snowflake and relational DBs.
• Leverage Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, dynamic tables) for near real‑time data.
• Own Snowflake governance, cost management, and RBAC/security.
• Design, build, and maintain back‑end APIs in Python and C#/.NET.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across environments.
• Configure and maintain Windows Server and Linux infrastructure.
• Integrate third‑party platforms and APIs (HubSpot, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Troubleshoot production issues across multi‑client environments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews; mentor juniors.
