Eliassen Group's Cincinnati client is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and support scalable, production-ready data solutions using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and related enterprise technologies. You will translate business problems into technical requirements and contribute across discovery, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

The role modernizes financial data flows with QRM and Oracle OFSAA/FTPCS, and uses approved AI-assisted development tools to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• Typically three or more years of data-engineering, ETL/ELT, or software-engineering experience.
• Experience delivering data solutions from problem definition through production support.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into clearly defined technical requirements and data solutions with stakeholders.
• Analyze source data, processes, and downstream usage to identify technical problems.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support production data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and enterprise technologies.
• Refine features into Agile-friendly stories with clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint execution.
• Develop scalable data models, transformations, and integration patterns.
• Support modernization of legacy ETL and file-based data flows.
• Implement data testing, reconciliation, monitoring, alerts, and exception handling.
