Job summary

CTG is seeking a Data Engineer experienced with Snowflake and cloud platforms to design and optimize enterprise data pipelines. The role focuses on building scalable data warehouses and integration solutions across Snowflake, Teradata, and big data environments.

Responsibilities include developing ETL/ELT processes, Python/SQL solutions, and ensuring data security and governance in a large-scale setting. Strong collaboration with architects and stakeholders is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong design, development, and optimization skills for data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise data management and analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and cloud-based technologies.
• Design, build, and maintain data warehouses and data integration solutions using platforms such as Snowflake and Teradata.
• Develop complex data engineering components and integrate software across platforms.
• Work with large-scale data processing technologies including Spark, Hadoop, and PySpark.
• Develop efficient data solutions using Python and SQL.
• Optimize data pipelines, queries, data models, and warehouse performance for enterprise-scale workloads.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized analytics environments.
• Implement data security, governance, quality, and compliance best practices.
• Troubleshoot data integration and performance issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, developers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
