Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Joint Staff Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) team to architect and deliver scalable data solutions for DoD missions. You will enable AI, analytics, and decision support across Joint Staff directorates.

Responsibilities include designing pipelines, ensuring data quality and security, collaborating with data scientists and stakeholders, and maintaining ETL processes in secure DoD environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics roles.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages for data manipulation and pipeline development.
• Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and integrating complex data sources.
• Strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance in federal/DoD environments.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry or Maven MSS.
• Proficiency in Power Platform or Power Apps for data-driven applications and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with Qlik, Databricks, War Data Platform (WDP), or Advana.
• Experience supporting operational DoD analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
• Advanced degree or certifications in data engineering, cloud, or analytics platforms.

Security Clearance Requirement

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
