Job summary

Parsons seeks a Data Scientist II to support the intelligence community from Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC. You will perform analytics, model evaluation, and reporting for stakeholders on unclassified work during clearance crossover.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph, a related Bachelor's degree, and 3+ years of data science experience. Parsons offers a comprehensive Federal Solutions package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's Degree in statistics, mathematics, image science, remote sensing, earth science, physical science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of direct data science experience.
• Experience in data science/engineering/analytics, statistics, computer science, or related fields.
• Experience in testing and evaluating AI/ML models.
• Experience supporting Department or War and/or Intel Community clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration in teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Federal Government Intel Contract via data science expertise (analytics, statistics, testing and eval of AI/ML models) to produce and present outputs to key stakeholders.
• Start immediately on unclassified work while in clearance crossover.
• Support data acquisition, cleaning, and preparation of diverse data under guidance of senior staff.
• Execute routine analysis using established statistical methods to answer defined business questions.
• Build and maintain basic reports, dashboards, and visualizations for project teams and stakeholders.
• Assist in applying standard business analytics and customer segmentation techniques in defined areas.
• Document methods, code, and results thoroughly to ensure reproducibility.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support Federal Government Intel Contract via data science expertise (analytics, statistics, testing and eval of AI/ML Models), to produce and present relevant output to key stakeholders.

• Supports data acquisition, cleaning, and basic preparation of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data under the guidance of more senior staff.
• Executes routine analysis using established statistical and analytical methods to address clearly defined business questions.
• Builds and maintains basic reports, dashboards, and visualizations to summarize findings for project teams and stakeholders.
• Assists in applying standard business analytics and customer segmentation techniques in defined functional areas (e.g., marketing, operations, human capital).
• Documents methods, code, and results thoroughly, ensuring reproducibility and alignment with team standards.

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Security Clearance Requirement:

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
