GX2 Tecnologia in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and own end-to-end data pipelines. You will build SQL- and Python-based workflows for ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and integration across Snowflake, Salesforce, and other platforms, with emphasis on reliability and security.

You will also develop AI-powered data products and APIs, collaborate with clients to translate business needs into data solutions, and mentor junior teammates in a fast-evolving AI-native

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering with data pipelines on Snowflake, Salesforce, or similar tech.
• Strong SQL skills with advanced queries, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on Python for data processing and pipeline development.
• Experience building and orchestrating production-grade data pipelines.

[Data Engineer | Senior]

About the Role:

• We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work in a hands-on and strategic capacity, spanning data engineering, analytics, and systems design.

This person will be responsible for designing and developing SQL- and Python-based workflows for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and integration across platforms such as Snowflake and Salesforce. The role will have end-to-end ownership of data pipelines and will contribute to building analytics solutions on top of these datasets.

You will also participate in the development of proprietary solutions for monitoring these ecosystems and creating AI-driven workflows using structured datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL- and Python-based data workflows
• Architect and develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration processes across platforms such as Snowflake and Salesforce;
• Work with complex and unstructured operational and financial data;
• Perform data modeling in Snowflake and other cloud data warehouses;
• Build secure and reliable integrations between systems using APIs, exports, and manual data loads;
• Apply data security best practices for data storage and movement, including access management, credentials, and secure connectivity;
• Make independent, business-oriented decisions regarding the pipelines being developed;
• Partner closely with clients to understand their business context and translate it into data solutions;
• Support analytics use cases based on structured datasets;
• Develop AI-powered products and APIs, contributing to the evolution of the company's AI-native solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering, including experience architecting data pipelines on platforms such as Snowflake, Salesforce, or similar technologies;
• Strong, hands-on experience with SQL, including advanced queries, data modeling, and performance optimization;
• Strong experience with Python for data processing and pipeline development;
• Experience building and orchestrating production-grade data pipelines;
• Knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms is a plus;
• Understanding of data security fundamentals, including secure connectivity, credential management, and access control;
• Strong business understanding applied to data pipelines, with the autonomy to make data-related decisions;
• AI-oriented mindset, with an interest in working in an AI-native environment and developing AI-powered products and APIs;
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of problems end-to-end;
• Comfortable working in environments characterized by ambiguity and a high level of change;
• Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in contributing to the development of solutions from the ground up.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with companies in the financial services or financial business sectors;
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools;
• Experience working with financial or operational data;
• Experience in consulting or client-facing roles;
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence tools and applied AI workflows.
