Leads enterprise‑scale data architecture and engineering initiatives, designing robust data ecosystems that support complex AI/ML operations across multiple classified and unclassified environments. Help write the policy that will influence how the department tests and evaluates AI across the joint force.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise data platforms and infrastructure
• Lead design of complex data integration solutions across multiple data sources
• Optimize data processing workflows for high‑volume, low‑latency requirements
• Establish data governance frameworks and quality assurance processes
• Mentor mid‑level data engineers and provide technical leadership
• Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering and DevOps
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data strategy and roadmaps
• Implement advanced analytics capabilities and real‑time data processing solutions

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering experience with increasing responsibility
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
• Expertise in distributed computing frameworks and big data technologies
• Advanced knowledge of database systems, data modeling, and performance
