Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking innovative entrants to join its Data Engineer Rotational Program at the San Diego HQ. You will gain multi-software platform exposure, focusing on SQL-driven data solutions and rotating through Data Engineering areas with a path to permanent placement.

In this role you will build data pipelines, develop SSIS packages, and collaborate with IT, BI, Salesforce teams while following SDLC practices in a dynamic fintech environment. This is an on-site role at our San Diego location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, business or math or related field.
• Basic–intermediate SQL server development/testing.
• Apex and Lightning Web Components experience.
• SSIS knowledge and data integration exposure.
• Experience with cloud/on-prem integrations and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Define and perform data validation and testing for data quality.
• Create SSIS packages for data transformation and transfer.
• Analyze data flow requirements and document procedures.
• Develop and optimize SQL jobs, procedures and functions.
• Tune performance of stored procedures, tables and indexes.
• Review SQL code for standards and performance.
• Support dashboards and BI reporting across platforms.
• Participate in SDLC with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud/omnichannel.
• Engage in client meetings, demos and project timelines.
• Collaborate with IT, data management and business stakeholders.
