Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Biomedical Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics with 2 years of data-intensive experience.
• Master's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• SQL and one other language (Java, Python, or R) required.
• Experience with Linux, container and cloud technologies (e.g. HPC, IaaS and PaaS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom, research project-specific database infrastructure solutions for data collection, management, reporting and analytics.
• Develop, maintain and modify large and complex medical research data sources and data architecture.
• Collaborate with investigators, staff and biostatisticians to understand requirements and data sources.
• Provide development, maintenance and modification of data systems to support empirical research needs.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and apply QA practices throughout the software life cycle.
