$50.00 to $56.00 per hour / 100k to 110k perm

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You will collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure high-quality data is available, reliable, and accessible across the organization. The role involves leveraging internal and external data assets to generate business insights, understand customer needs, and support strategic decision-making.

Required Skills

3+ years' experience in Data Engineering
On-Prem experience is required
Advanced Python programming skills
Preferred experience in Financial or Banking sectors
Experience with Linux
Development experience with data management technologies: NoSQL, relational databases, message brokers, multi-dimensional databases, and architecture design
Advanced SQL skills; experience with Oracle and Microsoft databases is desirable

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience (3 years)

Bonus Soft Skills

Experience with Anaconda, RabbitMQ, Jupyter Notebook, Tableau is a plus
