People Data Labs is seeking a data engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines, entity resolution, and scalable data processing. You will work with Spark, Python, SQL, and Databricks across AWS, helping to build high-quality data assets for AI and analytics.

Ideal candidates bring 3-5+ years of industry experience, strong programming fundamentals, and hands-on experience with modern data tools like Airflow, dbt, and Dagster. Remote work options available for this fast-growing data SaaS company.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of industry experience in data engineering.
• Strong Python and Spark experience.
• Proficient in SQL and building scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with Airflow or comparable workflow tools.
• Familiarity with Databricks and cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Experience with data warehousing and modern storage formats.

Responsibilities

• Build ingestion, transformation, and loading pipelines using Spark, SQL, AWS and Databricks.
• Develop an entity resolution framework to merge billions of entities into clean datasets.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and anomaly-detection systems to improve data quality in production.
• Propose and implement solutions for undefined data engineering and data science problems.
