PACCAR's Information Division in Renton, WA is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Master Data Management team. You will build reliable data pipelines from source systems to the MDM platform and deliver trusted master data to downstream consumers in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes streaming and batch data pipelines using Airflow, Beam, Dataflow, Kafka, Python, and cloud data services. You will contribute to architecture, data quality, CI/CD, and production support, enabling data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/related field
• 5+ years data engineering experience
• 3+ years with GCP services (Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, IAM)
• Proficient in Python and libraries (Pandas, SQLAlchemy, Flask)

Responsibilities

• Build and support streaming and batch data pipelines using Airflow and Beam (GCP Dataflow) to integrate source systems into downstream databases/MDM applications
• Develop Python-based data pipelines and transformation logic for ingestion, cleansing, and delivery
• Support real-time data integration using Kafka for near real-time master data availability
• Contribute to architecture, framework, and design patterns for source-to-application integrations
• Develop data quality measurement and monitoring solutions based on business requirements
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of data pipelines
• Monitor pipeline health and performance using Grafana and resolve issues
• Design reporting/analytic features with product owners and analysts in Agile/Scrum
• Provide post-implementation production support for data pipelines
