Job summary

Integral Federal is seeking a Data Engineer / PostgreSQL DBA to administer, sustain, optimize, and protect JPES/JCRM data environments. The role is based near Fort Meade and focuses on robust database engineering for federal programs.

Responsibilities include administering PostgreSQL/EDB databases, tuning performance, managing schemas, backups/recovery, and ensuring data integrity and security in DoD/classified environments.

Qualifications

• BA/ BS in an engineering discipline. Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
• 6+ years database engineering/administration experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience.
• Advanced SQL.
• Backup/recovery and performance tuning.
• Database troubleshooting and security.
• U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility.

Salary range: $130,000-$160,000

This position is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
